At Orthoville Westmount, we believe everyone deserves a beautiful and healthy smile. We never want finances to stop you from perfecting your smile. Whether you’re interested in orthodontics for yourself or your family, it is our mission to provide affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your family budget. We will take the time to thoroughly explain our payment options so that we can accommodate your needs.

Payment plans

We offer convenient payment plans. The first option is a zero percent interest, in-house payment plan requiring an initial payment due on the day your braces or appliances are placed. Our office accepts cash, cheques, Visa and MasterCard for the consultation, records and initial fee appointments. Thereafter, your schedule of monthly charges is payable by either a full series of post-dated cheques, or automatic debit from your bank the 15th of each month.

The second option involves a courtesy of 4% for payment made in full on the day your braces or appliances are delivered. Payment must be made by cash, cheque or debit card. A 2% courtesy is offered for payment in full by Visa or Mastercard.

Insurance coverage

Insurance coverage for orthodontic treatment differs from coverage for general dentistry services. Contact your insurance provider to determine your benefits.

If you are covered by orthodontic insurance, we will provide you with a Standard Information form that must be submitted to your insurance provider. No dental codes are required for orthodontic claim submissions. Your insurance company will then notify you regarding your orthodontic coverage and benefits.

All initial and monthly payments are made directly to Dr. Dorfman. We will give you a receipt for your payment, which you will attach to one of your group insurance forms. Please be sure to complete the Patient Identification section of the form with your group or policy number. You will then need to submit the form and your receipt to your insurance company so you can be reimbursed. Insurance companies do not deal directly with our office.

If your insurance benefits change during the time you are in treatment, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges incurred.
